Struggling to keep in touch with Man Utd in the Premiership, rumours about Rafa's job sweeping the city.
But then this is Liverpool. And a 1-0 win at the Bernabeu cauldron against a bang in form Real Madrid side, when the rest of the world is sniping, is pretty much par for the course for us.

FOOTBALL can be the cruellest of games sometimes.
For 94 minutes the Reds bossed the game against a bullied Chelsea side and looked superior in every department.
Yet somehow, we didn't get the 2-0 that would have been easily deserved.

ANOTHER sedate European tie at Anfield last night.
Quite what they put in the water in L4 just before big Euro kick-offs is anyone's guess.
Differences aside, both Liverpool and Arsenal should both be applauded for giving the competition one of the most thrilling matches the Champions League has seen for years.

IT'S DIFFICULT to say if we should be relatively happy with today's draw against The Gooners.
Certainly, with three other English teams in the draw, avoiding all of them would have been too much to ask for.
